Obituary of Thomas Bauman
Thomas was a passionate man who was full of faith and love. Thomas had the great fortune of meeting the love of his life, Karen, through his work at Liberty Bank. The pair were parishioners of St. Mary of the Lake Church, so after his time at Liberty Bank ended, Thomas worked at the church as a teachers’ aid. Thomas also loved to take the family on trips, specifically trips that were educational and rigidly scheduled, as he was a very particular man who never liked to run late. With his family, Thomas traveled to Washington DC, Boston, Philadelphia, and Cape Cod.
When he wasn’t working, Thomas had a great many things that made him happy to help him wind down. Ever a fan of James Patterson, Thomas loved to read thriller books when he would read, and sometimes would keep lists of the characters in each novel. This love of suspense was also in his favorite TV shows, like NCIS and Blue Bloods. However, Thomas also had an artistic side to him. He loved to see Broadway musicals, to listen to country music, and to simply enjoy the beauty of light houses. His favorite artistic pastime was photography, first on his 35mm camera, and later with his digital albums.
