Obituary of Ashley James
Ashley was an independent and fun-loving young woman. She travelled as much as she could and visited many places around the globe, including Germany, Switzerland, Honduras, Belize, Cancun, Belgium, Amsterdam, and all over the US. She interned in London and travelled extensively around Europe during that time. She graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2009, majoring in political science and economics and was very politically active. As soon as she was done with college, her wanderlust kicked in and she moved to Denver, Colorado. She fell in love with the big city and the mountains. She enjoyed camping around the mountains of Colorado.
Ashley was an animal lover. Her close family included her beloved black lab, Links, and her rabbit, Manolo Blahnik. Halloween was her favorite holiday and she loved carving pumpkins with intricate patterns. Ashley was known for her keen sense of fashion and her love of expensive shoes. When she got the opportunity to go to Denver, she brought two 50 pound bags and a carry on – likely mostly full of shoes. (And she even left shoes behind!) Please take a shoe to remember Ashley and her vibrant love of life.
